Welcome to Gikondi Secondary School. site Gikondi Secondary School is a Catholic sponsored public school started way back in 1966. It is a mixed school with both day and boarding students. The boys boarders are housed within the school but girls reside in the Catholic mission hostels half a kilometer away from the school. The boys hostels accommodate 160 boys.

The school is located in Nyeri County, Mukurwe-ini District.Kenya. It is 4.5 km south west of Mukurwe-ini district headquarters. For visitors starting their journey from Nairobi, Public Service vehicles for Mukurwe-ini have a stage along Latema road opposite Savani's Book Centre. These vehicles from Nairobi drop of their passengers at Mukurwe-ini township from where one can board matatus for a twenty minute journey to the school.
