Gikondi Secondary School has dedicated staff of 22 teachers.The longest member of staff has been in the institution for over twenty years while the most recent to join has been in the school for only two terms. Some of the teachers who have been in the school for long include Mr. Munyua , Mr Maina and Mr. Riitho Recently transferred long serving teachers include Mr. Giitwiki, Mr. Murage and Mr. Theuri.
A number of former GSS teachers have also risen to become Principals. These include Mrs F. Wachira, Mr Z.Kabatha, Mr. G. Mugo, Mr M. Kamonjo, Ms B. Kamonjo and others.
