Students welfare has also not been left behind .Starting January 2011,their uniforms are now GSS branded. They also now have fruits in their menu and the all the time students favorite …quarter loaf is provided to boarders. There are also at least two counselors visiting the school every term. The most recent visitors are Mbugua Mumbi, Dr Gonye and Mr Kigwa. These counselors offer services all over East Africa.
The school bus has also made it easy for the school to organize motivational trips for the students regularly
