Gikondi Secondary School. has a dynamic and focused board. The chairman is Mr George G. Keeru. Though the current board is fairly young being only three years in the office it has demonstrated its leadership capacity by overseeing the purchase of a school bus.
Under the boards stewardship the school has had the following achievements in the last four months:
(a) Rebuilding of staff gate
(b) School repainting
(c) Revival of the Alumni organization.
(d) Construction of sufficient water points.
(e)Construction of a modern Zero grazing unit.
(f)Starting of a Pig rearing project.
(g) Website project
(h)Automation of examination printing unit
(i)Computerisation of examinations results processing.
(j)Sever installation and commissioning of the school LAN.
